[music |The Caesars - Jerk It Out]

Maybe I should just fuck it all and go to clown college... hmm... actually not a bad idea. Except clowns are sometimes pretty scary. And you have to remember that unless they have a supportive spouse they work at the post office for like 9.5 months of the year and then clown for the other 3.5. I mean 2.5. Fuck, my math skills are so poor. Maybe no university will accept me, based on the fact that I can't add up to 12. Ha. Ha ha. How ironic would that be.

All I know is that if Steven got deferred from Harvard (granted it was early decision, and obviously he IS going to get in, just late because he was deferred), there is no fucking hope for the rest of us for any university. Ever.

What is the world coming to when a student who has a 96% average, an SAT score of 2160 and I'm sure a score of just as good or better on his SAT IIs, debates and went to Worlds and placed in top 10, volunteers, and is assistant Head Boy doesn't get in?

On a brighter note, here's a joke: Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent are at a Christmas party, and Snoop gives 50 this beautiful, handmade scarf. 50 is very surprised, turns to Snoop and says, "Gee. You knit?"

How do I hate LB? Oh, let me count thy ways...

1. She accused me of being a selfish, spoiled brat. She made me stay to tell her why I have extenuating circumstances for why I don't want to do something, and then accused me of only wanting to act in my own self-interest and of being very selfish. You idiot. Of course I'm telling you my own selfish interests, they're MY extenuating circumstances. It's not even the accusation of selfishness so much as it is the sheer moronic behaviour on her part. I should have told her I wanted the trip to be shorter because I

[music |Will & Grace]

I'm getting sick of people interfering in certain things thinking that they're doing something good and that I'll thank them. I was just reminded of it today. I wish I could tell the people (actually, it's really one person who it is) what they're doing but I can't because they'd be so offended and take it in the worst way possible. But. I just want to say. That it's none of their fucking business.

Honestly, there is not one person who I feel like spending a lot of time with right now, as ridiculous as that sounds. I've just seen everyone for too long - I need a break from people. Winter Break came way too late this year, and I just need to like... shop... by myself... for a good five hours. And also Rogers needs to stop fucking up with my cell.

Also, I just need university applications to be done with. I hate doing them. I thought it was going to be fun, because like one of my favourite things to do is fill out forms, but uni applications suck. They're the same thing over and over and over again. I am so sick of listing my leadership qualifications and telling you why I would be a positive contribution to your school. fndajkghouiregjri'.

Family Chanukah dinner tonight... and probably I'll go out with people after.

Gorillaz... interesting [Dec. 15th, 2005|11:48 pm]
[mood |calmcalm]
[music |The Luckiest - Ben Folds]

Your 2005 Song Is

Feel Good Inc by Gorillaz

"Love forever love is free.
Let's turn forever you and me."

In 2005, you were loving life and feeling no pain.

This is kind of cool because today Avi said to me, "Do you have any Gorillaz on your iPod?" And I only had that one song from like five years ago... you know, like "I'm useless, but not for long, the future, is comin' on..." etc. etc. and Feel Good Inc. And I was like, "You know Avi, these are like the only two Gorillaz songs I know but I should really get more because I like these songs so much." And now here we are, and apparently I am Feel Good Inc.

Actually that little story was not really cool at all, but still I'm happy that it's Gorillaz because I like them a lot.

[music |Begin - Ben Lee]

I'm so fucking sick of these surveys, but I can't stop. It's like my weakness. I'm addicted.

1) Last thing you burned while attempting to cook?
I don't even know. A lot of stuff. I can't really cook.
2) Describe yourself in 3 words?
Nice, humourous, ambitious.
3) How long does it take you to get ready for your day?
School days: 30 minutes. Going Out: 45.
4) Favorite place to blow $50?
A spa.
5) How many people have you thought were "the one"?
None, really. One, but that was when I was like 12 and just overly dramatic.
6) What is something that turns you off from the opposite sex?
Arrogance, lack of funniness, lack of personal hygiene.
7) What kind of car do you drive?
My parent's cars. So... Volvos.
8) What's in your CD player right now?
Car stereo: Chili Peppers. Otherwise it's just iPod stuff, usually shuffle.
9) What celebrity would you have coffee with?
CHUCK KLOSTERMAN. Or Jake Gyllenhal, Mark Ruffalo or John Cusack.
10) What celebrity would you NOT have coffee with?
50 Cent.
11) What kind of toothpaste do you use?
Colgate Total.
12) What time do you go to bed?
Weeknights: 11:00. Weekends: whenever I get too tired.
13) Last movie you saw?
First Wives Club. It was on TV today and I couldn't pass it up; it's too good.
14) Last TV show you watched?
Grey's Anatomy.
15) Who is your best friend?
I have lots.
16) Who in your family do you best get along with?
Hard to say... I get along with everyone. I mean obviously my immediate family moreso, but all of my cousins are really cool too and we get along really well, so...
17) Who do you lust after?
Ryan Gosling, the guy that plays George in Grey's Anatomy, Jake Gyllenhal, Mark Ruffalo.
18) What time is it?
19) Are you planning a vacation/travel?
Connecticut in March and ISRAEL IN MAYYYY!
20) When/Where was the last time you traveled?
Montreal for I-Nats.
21) How many times have you been in love?
None that were true.
22) How old will you be in 10 years?
23) Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
As an Ambassador to another country. Or as a lawyer. Or a journalist. Or in politics. I can't decide.
24) Sinful snacking weakness?
Candy, like sour soothers. And also, like if chips or popcorn is in front of me, I'll eat it.
25) Rollercoasters?
Yeah I really only like the ones at Disney World though.
26) Ever run out of gas?
Oh man I am so scared of running out of gas. But I'm pretty good about filling up so it's all ok. But metaphorically, all the time. Sometimes you just get burnt out.
27) Ever been on a train?
28) Ever been on a blind date?
Haha, no... honestly, there's so much potential for either greatness or terrible awkwardness.
32) Ever been arrested?
33) Have a crush on anyone you work with?
Seeing as how I don't work... and the only work that I do do is babysit... and I don't have a crush on either the 2-year-old child or the father or the mother... no.
34) What is something you believe in?
That we are all fundamentally decent.
35) What is something you fear?
Death and heights.
36) Big or small?
I guess big.
37) What is the worst pain you have ever experienced?
I had a spinal tap when I was 4, and that was pretty bad. And also at camp when I was in Chavurah I had a migraine/pressure headache and it was so bad. Like horrible. I wanted to die. Ugh, I can't even think about it.
38) What is your favorite television show?
Weeds, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy.
39) Ever photoshopped yourself to look better in a picture?
If only I knew how to work photoshop.
40) Tell us something about your childhood.
I had two imaginary friends, and then I invented one for my brother; like I made up a backstory for one of MY imaginary friends that she had a brother, who I then decided would be friends with my brother. And my brother used to get so pissed off at me because he didn't want to be friends with my imaginary friend's brother.
41) What would it cost for you to flash the person next to you?
Everyone else at my table to buy me a round so I could forget about what I had just done.

Cookie dough.
48) Coolest thing that happened today?
56) What do you usually order from Starbucks?
Maple macchiato.
57) What is/was your biggest mistake?
Ignoring my instincts and going against them.
58) Have you ever hurt yourself on purpose?
No, except maybe when I was like 6 and I thought it was so cool to have a broken arm, so I think maybe I like tried to break my arm or something... I can't even remember, so clearly it wasn't that significant.
59) Say something totally random about you:

61) Do you still watch kiddy movies or tv shows?
Of course.
62) Did you have braces?
I had a retainer...
63) Are you comfortable with your height?
Yeah... I mean, a lot of guys I know either haven't fully had their growth spurts/JUST had them, so for awhile I was taller than most people in my school, guys included. And I can't really wear too high heels, so that kind of sucks. But I like being taller, so all in all I'm comfortable with it.
64) What is the most romantic thing done by someone of the opposite sex?
Don't even know... in grade 5 someone did something romantic for me, but since then... hahahaha.

75) Can you dance?
Yeah sure, why not.
76) What's the latest you've ever stayed up?

79) Do you actually read these when other people fill them out?
Yeah I guess I'm just a curious sort of person.
80) Whats your full name?
You know it.
81) If you had to pick another city to live in... but it was in the same province, what city would you choose?

[music |Ballerina - Leona Naess]

Hebrew folk songs sound so much better when there's a bunch of people singing them at the top of their lungs. I don't even care about instrumentals; the background music is just noise to me. It's all about a huge group of counselors and campers all singing these songs together, acapella, not sounding harmonious but loving it.

I have a dilemma and I don't know what to do about it. I also have a lot to say about a lot of stuff, but don't have the energy/don't know how to formulate it into words. I have so many observations I've made about the people in my life, and I just need to write them out but I can't just write drivel and so if I'm not in a good-writing mood I know the only thing that will slip from my fingers will be disgusting bile that I will cringe at when I read over. Fuck. I hate my sporadic perfectionism. Only in certain things.

I don't know what to do. I'm restless. I need to clean my room. I need to write an essay. I need to stop procrastinating. I need to stop being so worried about certain little details. I need not to have things nagging at the back of my mind. I need to let go of all this. I need...

[music |Run It - Chris Brown]

Well, I just had an interesting thing happen.

I am almost positive I either lost my debit card or it was stolen. So I cancelled it.

And it happened, just like that. I called the 1-800 number and cancelled my card. And now I get to go pick up a new one. Huh. Funny how some things are just easy like that.

I have so much to say but no patience with which to type it. So I'm out. It's 1:09 and I have to be up in approximately 6.5 hours to debate.

I like dances.

The end.

Or is it...?

(Yes it is.)

[music |Im Teleh - Idan Raichel Project]

I was just finding Idan Raichel songs and I searched Boee and what came up was "Shlomo Carlebach - Boee v'shalom".

This isn't funny to anyone but me, but after the GAers came back, at Gwen Stefani when we were waiting for her to come on stage, all they were singing was "Shlomo Carlebach ayayayayayayayaya!" And it was hilarious 'cause the people around us were SO Christian and SO confused and also me and Sharna were looking the other way pretending not to know them (the GA people, that is).

Shlomo Carlebach. WOW.

I didn't bruise easily before these past two weeks, but dance is making me bruise like a friggin' peach. I have a mother of one on my knee because we drop down to the floor. And I mean this bruise is savage. It's 3D. And then another on my hip bone and and another on my other knee. But none are as bad as this bruise on my right knee; it's sickkkkk. Next week I'm wearing knee pads. Haha. But I'm serious. It hurts a lot. So kneepads it is.

[music |Ignition Remix - R. Kelly]

I actually NEED to see Rent again. So if you haven't seen it and you want to go, I will go with you (even if you don't want me to, lol jk that was creepy) because I have to go seeee it. Tomorrow night, anyone? Slash anytime, anyone?

I don't want to go to bed just yet, so here is an absurdly long survey (seem to be doing a lot of these as of late...)

Part one: YOU
> What is your name? Susan.
> How old will you be on your next birthday? 18!
> Is that your natural hair colour? Pretty much. There's some highlights, but it's primarily my own color.
> What about your eyes? Yeah. But if I need glasses again (which I think do) I'm considering getting color contacts.
> Name 10 random facts about yourself:
1> I just had Milk Duds.
2> In Rent, when Mark sings "fuckin' weird" during Tango Maureen it makes me laugh. It's made me laugh since I first heard the song like five years ago, and it still does. :)
3> I didn't step out of my house today until 4:00 (PM, that is).
4> I am somewhat excited for Asper Cup. NOT to debate, but to see everyone.
5> My grad pictures are on Thursday.
6> I'm feeling pretty full right now.
7> Today as I was walking from my piano lesson to my car, I wiped out (and I mean a full-on, ridiculous, legs-sliding-out-from-under-me) and just as I fell, a car drove by and the man inside was laughing at me.
8> When I fell, my purse was open and it flew up over my head and practically all of its contents (including my iPod, cell and wallet and like twenty loose receipts and three lipglosses) fell out onto the street and I had to collect them. And the man was still there, in his car, laughing at me.
9> I kind of wish I celebrated Christmas because it's so beautiful and makes me really happy.
10> I'm reading a good book, but I really wish I had a trashy beach-read right now because I need something lighter.

> Nose rings? I like like the little diamond-type studs on some people. Nose rings really suit some people, but they wouldn't suit me.
> Eyebrow rings? On guys they can be super hot.
> Lip rings? Ditto. Kind of. A little less hot than eyebrow rings. But still pretty hot.
> Bellybutton rings? I wanted one so badly when I was like 12, but now I'm kind of wavering. I have to think about it.
> Nipple rings? No.
> Other piercings? Not so much of a fan of those cheek piercings/bull-type piercings that go through the nose.
> Short hair on girls? Yeah go for it, it's your decision. I could never have short hair, I don't think, but on some people it looks good.
> Long hair on guys? Generally not a fan. Like I mean ponytail long. Shaggy is good good.
> Guys who wear make-up? I'm sorry but that's kind of weird. I guess I'm a product of my culture, putting men and women into little boxes of cans and can-nots, but no.
> Dreadlocks? Once again, they're great on some people but I could never do it. It would just look ridic.
> Smoking? I don't do it... I won't do it...
> Sex? I'm all for it, especially pre-maritally. Go for it. Taste the fruit.
> Porn? A multi-billion dollar industry.
> Drunken hook-ups? Only fun when it's just a hookup.
> Girls not eating something because it has "too many calories"? Well, like, water doesn't have too many calories. So if someone said, "can't drink the water, too many calories [or insert other healthy food here, like lettuce or whatever]" that's weird. But not eating junk because you want to be healthy is ok.
> People who don't eat meat? Good stuff.
> Eating disorders? Terribly sad disease. Could say more, but am not experienced in this arena.
> Cell phones? Totally necessary (especially for drivers). Remind me to tell anyone who disputes this fact the story of what happened to me last Saturday.
> Myspace? Like it.
> Music? Suuuucks. Boo, I hate music.
> Hugged someone? Tonight?
> Kissed someone? It's been awhile, actually. Like a year. Well, less. But whatevs.
> Held hands with someone? Last night with Ally while walking around the lobby, hahaha.
> Cried? Wednesday, broke down when I got home from school while telling my mom the story of the evil administration. And then again Wednesday night while watching Rent and sobbing because it was so sad.
> Screamed? Wednesday.
> Threw up? A long time ago. Like six years.
> Danced? A week ago.
> Painted your nails? Like a month ago.
> Did something your parents wouldn't approve of? Homecoming...
> Drove a car? Half an hour ago.
> Ate fast food? Had fries last night.
> Stole something? Never.
> Danced in the rain? Awhile ago. I have to do that again.
> On the lips? Yup.
> On the hand? I've been kissed on the hand...
> In your room? No, actually. Never in my room.
> In their room? Yes.
> Of the opposite sex? Yeah.
> Of the same sex? Nope.
> Who was drunk? Yes.
>Who was high? Nope.
> Who had jet black hair? Yep.
> With tattoos? No.
> With a lip ring? No.
> Taller than you? Yes.
> Shorter than you? Yes.
> With flaming red hair? No.
> Who had a girlfriend/boyfriend? No.
> Whose name you didn't know? No.
> Who you were related to? Nope.
> Older than you? Yes... I think. Maybe not. I don't know.
> Younger than you? Nope.
> Who has been in jail? Haha, no.
> In a graveyard? Creeepy.
> While you were driving? Nope.
> While they were driving? No.
> In a bus/car/taxi? No.
> Who was going out with someone close to you? Nope.
> In some type of water? Nope.
> In another country? Yup.
> With an accent? Yup.
> With an STD? Nope.
> With a missing body part? No. (Initially I laughed when I read that, but it's really not funny. Why did I just laugh?)
> In a public place? Nope.
> In your parent's room? In someone else's parents room. But not mine. Once again, careeepy.
> On your birthday? Nope.

> Coke or Pepsi? I can't tell.
> Vanilla or chocolate? Both.
> Liquor or beer? Liquor.
> Tall or short? I guess tall.
> TV or computer? An TV that can go online.
> Day or night? Depends.
>Winter or summer? SUMMMMMER.
> Birthdays or Christmas? Birthdays. But I loooove Christmas.
> Hugs or kisses? Both.
> Relationships or one-night stands? Relationships.
> Television shows or movies? Both. Damn I am not good at this one.
> Food? Sushi, Thai.
> Non-alcoholic drink? Tea, slurpee.
> Song? All-time: America - Simon & Garfunkel, Road Trippin' - Chilis, Burn One Down - Ben Harper,
In Other Words - Ben Kweller, Young Pilgrims - The Shins, The Scientist - Coldplay,
Hide Your Love Away - The Beatles.
> Movie? Ferris Beuller's Day Off, Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion, Pay it Forward, Garden State. And for now, RENT.
> Room in your house? My room and my parents' room.

> Do you play any sports good? I'm not too bad at basketball and baseball. And maybe soccer. Maybe.
> What's the scariest movie you've ever seen: The Wizard of Oz.
